The course provides at least 30 hours of online instruction (36 fifty-minute periods). You can work at your own pace—over several days or weeks—until you finish all required modules and quizzes.

Yes. At the end of the online instruction you must complete a DMV-approved final exam.
Teens 17 and under also need to complete the 90-minute Parent/Teen Course as required by DMV before taking final exam
Student must schedule an in-person final exam with us after finishing the online portion.

We cannot guarantee results. Your success depends on how well you participate, study, and understand the material. This course gives you all of the required instruction and tools to be prepared, but the final outcome is based on the student.

You complete all online lessons
You pass the required final exam (and Parent/Teen course for eligible teens)

Yes. If you have failed the DMV knowledge test three times, this course meets the DMV recertification requirement. After completion and a passing final exam, you will receive the documentation needed to retake the DMV test.

No. Each course purchase is for one student only. Two people cannot share one package, login, or certificate. Every student must enroll and pay separately to receive their own DMV-approved certificate.

No. The 30-Hour Driver’s Education course is separate from Behind-the-Wheel instruction. BTW is billed separately. However, if you complete both Driver’s Ed and Behind-the-Wheel with us, you receive a bundle discount off the BTW fee.

Yes. Your completion certificate can be used at any DMV-approved driving school or public school in Virginia. The certificate is universal and valid statewide for Teen Behind-the-Wheel, Adult Waiver programs, and DMV-recognition.
